Tennessee Electronic Library:
Standard Interface - A collection of magazine, periodical, and newspaper databases, critical essays, guide to recommended titles, selected reference sources, and more. A variety of resource levels from elementary to college are offered. Please ask a librarian about password information. The collection will open a new browser window.

- Patrons 13 and younger may need to wait for parental notification but patrons 14 and older get a one time username and password delivered to their e-mail box immediately (with further instructions and tips for fool proof access).

Encyclopedia Britannica for Upper School students and Compton’s by Britannica for Middle School students are additional general encyclopedia resources. Many articles in the encyclopedia have associated journal articles, images, and websites. The publishers have provided citing information for each encyclopedia article in both MLA and APA styles. Please ask a librarian about username and password information.




Landmarks Citation Machine provides an easy way to generate a citation in either MLA or APA format. The student puts in the information, and it is formatted automatically. Please doublecheck more complicated citations against the appropriate style reference.
