HOW TO APPLY
Thank you for your interest in pursuing your child’s admission to Lausanne Collegiate School. The first step in our admission process begins with an online application ($75). You may begin your online application by clicking on the link below. We have also included the remaining steps by grade level for you to review prior to submitting your application including admission forms and assessment and student visit details.
The deadline for first-round consideration is December 31, 2017, after which time we follow a rolling admission process based on space available. We request that students applying for early childhood classes be of grade level age by June 1 for admission consideration. All students entering early childhood must be toilet-trained by the first day of school. (PK-Age 3, JK-Age 4, SK-Age 5).

- Upload or submit a Request for Records form
-PK applicants will submit a PK Observation Release form instead
- Schedule your child’s individual assessment and/or student visit day. See grade level details below.
- Upload or submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate
- Upload or submit a recent photo of your child
- Upload or submit an up-to-date immunization record for your child
- Grades 5-11th:
-Complete and submit the student questionnaire
-Schedule a divisional parent/student interview with the admission office. These will be conducted once the other steps have been completed.
- Grades 7-11th:
- Complete and submit the Lausanne Way Project
- Submit results of any special testing if applicable:
- Speech and/or hearing therapy
- Psychological/Educational Assessments
- Neurological Evaluations
- Visual Examinations (other than routine)
- Testing for a gifted program and learning difference
ASSESSMENT AND VISIT DAYS
PK3: KSEALS Assessment ($25) Each applicant will have the opportunity to participate in a group visit day with other PK applicants. While enjoying the classroom, students will have individual KSEALS assessments with one of our admission counselors.
JK: KSEALS & Children’s Progress Assessment ($35) Each applicant for JK will visit in a Lausanne PK classroom with his or her peers for one hour. An admission counselor will also work with each candidate for thirty minutes on the KSEALS & Children’s Progress assessments.
SK-1st Grade: KABCII & Children’s Progress Assessment ($35) Each applicant for SK-1st grade will visit in a Lausanne classroom with his or her peers for one hour. An admission counselor will also work with each candidate for one hour on the KABCII & Children’s Progress assessments.
2nd & 3rd Grade: KABCII & Children’s Progress Assessment ($50) Each applicant for 2nd & 3rd grade will visit in a Lausanne classroom with his or her peers for a minimum of two hours. An admission counselor will also work with each candidate for one hour on the KABCII & Children’s Progress assessments.
4th Grade: ISEE Primary 4 Assessment ($110) Each applicant for 4th grade will visit in a Lausanne classroom with his or her peers for a minimum of two hours. The ISEE Primary 4 is administered online by an admission counselor and takes a minimum of two hours to complete.
5th-11th Grade: ISEE Group exam ($110) or individual exam ($210) Applicants entering the 5th-11th grades are required to take the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). This test is given at several different independent school locations. We recommend applicants schedule their test on the Lausanne site date. This test may be scheduled by going to http://www.iseetest.org/. When registering for the ISEE, make sure that you have scores sent to Lausanne (431435). We encourage all students applying for the Middle or Upper School to visit for a full day. To schedule a student visit for your rising 5th -11th grader please submit an Online Student Visit Form or register for a Preview Day.
