Molly Bowie Cook
Director of Admission
B.S.Ed, University of Memphis
Molly Cook grew up in the education world, particularly in Memphis independent schools. Her father and mother both served as administrators of an independent school for 30 and 40 years, respectively. She then followed suit by teaching for 19 years first in lower school and later in both middle and upper school.
Making the switch to admissions, Molly joined the Lausanne family in 1999. “Now into my fourteenth year as Director of Admission of Lausanne Collegiate School, I have had the privilege to work with many wonderful families who are seeking the very best school for their child’s education,” she says. “I never tire of meeting prospective students and searching for those new faces who may be given the opportunity to join our already wonderful student body.”
“I believe in ‘The Lausanne Way’ and the opportunities our students are given to experience a superior education while growing both academically and socially. It is an honor for me, along with the admission staff, to share what makes Lausanne stand apart from other schools,” she says. “Our daily challenge is to have each student graduate from Lausanne having found his or her own confidence and independence to be prepared for college and for life in a global environment. We strive to show families how the Lausanne faculty brings the joy of learning to our students, and how our students bring the joy of teaching to our faculty.”
Nancy G. Taylor
Assistant Director of Admission & Director of Financial Aid
B.A.-E. University of Mississippi
I am a lifelong Memphian and have worked in Independent school admissions and financial aid for over sixteen years. Becoming part of the Lausanne admission team is a wonderful new experience. Working with families of students of all grade levels and nationalities has enriched my own life. My goal is to make each prospective student feel welcome and comfortable and to ensure trust and confidence in their parents that here at Lausanne we inspire a joy of learning and empower all students for their individual journey in the world beyond.

Marcie L. Malin
Admission Coordinator
Associate of Applied Business, University of Cincinnati
Before joining the Lausanne team, Marcie lived in Cincinnati, Ohio. After relocating to Memphis with her family in 2009, Marcie first joined the Lausanne family as a parent enrolling her two sons in our Middle School program.
“As I recollect on the past few years of the unexpected detour in life, as I like to call it, I am continually grateful. I truly enjoy coming to work every day, interacting with the prospective families and seeing the smiling faces of our student body and faculty daily. I believe in The Lausanne Way and am inspired by the sincere care and concern the faculty has in each child to succeed and be the best they can be. I know I couldn’t ask for better mentors for myself and for my children than what I have found at Lausanne. From personal experience, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to share with prospective families the heartfelt belief that a Lausanne education truly makes a difference in my children’s lives.”
