Lower School Sports
Lausanne offers an expansive and age-appropriate athletics program for Lower School students. We have a strong team of seasoned professional and volunteer coaches ready to provide students with the fundamentals of team and individual sports as well as to increase athletic abilities and encourage friendships through good sportsmanship. We encourage all parents to sign up their children for team sports and enable them to have fun playing and getting to know one another while enjoying Lausanne’s outdoor sports complex completed last fall and the newly renovated Lower School gymnasium.
Team sports available to Lower School students include:

Our basketball, flag football and soccer teams compete in local leagues. Our volleyball, tennis and basketball lessons are in a clinic setting allowing for hands-on instruction and skill development. These team sports and clinics are offered in addition to the daily physical education program for all Lower School classes, PK-4th grade.
Physical education programs are aligned throughout the school so that Lower School and Middle School students have the opportunity to experience the sports that are being offered in the Upper School in a specific season.
Lower School soccer teams are age specific. Teams age 8 and under are co-ed and 3rd and 4th grade teams are gender specific.
