Accreditation
Lausanne Collegiate School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) / Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (CASI) and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA). In April 2006, three accreditation agencies unified to form AdvancEd: North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) an, SACS and the National Study of School Evaluation (NSSE). This unification process results in Lausanne?s having global connectivity and resources inclusive of 23,000 public and private schools serving 30 states, 65 countries and over 15 million students. Accreditation, which is sought on a voluntary basis, ensures that the institution has met the standards established by the association and simplifies the transfer of credits from one school to another. No school can be accredited, regardless of its resources, unless it engages in a continuing program of school improvement. Lausanne is also accredited by the National Asssociation for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
