Who are we?

A unique school  in Memphis where students take charge of their learning, where diversity is global and where college is only the first step, Lausanne Collegiate School is today’s choice for tomorrow’s world. We are a coeducational, preK-twelfth grade school, preparing students for college and for life in a global environment. Since 1926, our alumni have gone forward with the curiosity, confidence and courage they need for life’s journey. And in 2010, we will offer the International Baccalaureate program starting in eleventh grade.

Lausanne’s students take an active role in their learning. From numerous AP offerings, to eighth grade algebra and enrichment activities for all students, our curriculum focuses on each child’s potential.

The MidSouth’s first laptop school, Lausanne fosters anywhere, anytime learning. Fifth through twelfth graders use their laptops on the shore of Blue Heron Pond or sitting in the breezeway as they collaborate with students across the world.
