Just like our music program, Lausanne's Theater department is a vital and lively part of the daily life of Lausanne Collegiate School.  From Lower School drama presented in the Afterschool program to the Middle School musical and the wonderful productions presented by the Lausanne’s Upper School Theater Department students of all ages perform on our stage in the beautiful Elder Performing Arts Ce

Theater classes are available for all of our students, either in our Aftercare program in the Lower School or beginning at fifth grade for our Middle School stuidents.  In the Upper School, students can take advantage of acting classes, play production and even directing, producing their own one act plays every year.

Lausanne's International Thespian Society invites member to join once they have participated in two plays and worked on the technical aspects of one more. As an honor society and the society it does many projects throughout the year including the Tennessee Thespian Conference, Children's Theatre Festival and our annual awards banquet.
