How to Apply
Our admissions application is available online. You will be able to complete the application, pay the $75.00 processing fee, and download any required forms. If you prefer, you may complete the application online and then print a copy for submission. To receive a paper application, please contact our Office of Admission. To apply online, click here.

Online Application
- Current Families: If you are applying for a new child, please be sure to use your existing log in for the online application. Complete application including fee of $75.00 per application.
- New families: Create a username and login as instructed on the online application. Complete application including fee of $75.00 per application.

Teacher Recommendations:
Once we have your signed Request for Records form we will mail the appropriate confidential form(s) to your child's current school to receive both the transcript and teacher recommendation form(s).
Assessments and Student Visits:
Please call the Admission Office to schedule a time for your child to be given the appropriate entrance assessment. An application must be on file before scheduling the assessment.

Assessment ($25). Each applicant will be observed while completing the assessment. We also request permission to speak with the faculty or director of the applicant's current school.

Assessment ($35). Each applicant for JK will visit in a current Lausanne classroom. JK applicants will visit for one hour. We will do our best to schedule these on the same date as the assessment.

Assessment ($35). Each applicant for SK-1st grade will visit in a current Lausanne classroom. SK and 1st grade applicants will visit for one hour. We will do our best to schedule these on the same date as the assessment.

Assessment ($50). Each applicant for 2nd & 3rd grade will visit in a Lausanne classroom for a half day (minimum of 2 hours). We will do our best to schedule these on the same date as the assessment.

Assessment ($89). Each applicant for 4th grade will visit in a Lausanne classroom for a half day (minimum of 2 hours). We will do our best to schedule these on the same date as the assessment.

Applicants entering the 5th-12th grades are required to take the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). This test is given at several different Independent school locations. We recommend applicants schedule their test on the Lausanne site date. This test may be scheduled by going to http://www.iseetest.org/.
We offer an invitation for any student entering Middle or Upper School to visit for a full day. These visits may be scheduled through the Admission Office.

STUDENT INTERVIEWS and PARENT MEETINGS
An interview with the division head is required for all students entering grades 5 - 12. Please contact the Admission Office to schedule your appointment.
For students entering the Prekindergarten, Junior Kindergarten & Senior Kindergarten Programs:
By June 1 before the fall of the new school year:
- Students entering Pre-Kindergarten must be at least 3 years of age.
- Students entering Junior Kindergarten must be at least 4 years of age.
- Students entering Senior Kindergarten must be at least 5 years of age.
PK - All students entering the PK program must be toilet-trained.
We respectfully request copies of testing results if your child has ever had any of the following:
- Speech and/or hearing therapy
- Psychological / Educational Assessments
- Neurological evaluations
- Visual examinations
- Testing for a learning difference or gifted programs
International or Limited-English-Speaking students PK-12th Grade:
Our EAL (English as an Additional Language) Instructor will meet and assess all students who speak limited English. We also require a one- to two-page written essay on any topic of interest to the student and two teacher recommendations from the student's current school.
