Auction	April 20, 2013	While the goal of the Annual Auction is always to raise money, its main purpose is to provide a venue for adults in the Lausanne family to come together for a fun evening. It’s a perfect setting for getting to know one another better, eating a great meal and celebrating our wonderfully diverse community. Fall Carnival	October 20	The Fall Carnival is a wonderful day of fun and games in which all members of the school community are invited to participate. Tickets may be purchased to play games or participate in fun activities sponsored by teams from each grade of the school. Proceeds from the Carnival benefit our school’s clubs and other extra-curricular activities. Grade Level Socials		Periodically, parents in a grade come together in a social setting as a means of getting to know one another better and building school community.	Host Help Host
International Film Festival	TBA	Lausanne celebrates its unique international culture with food and film in this kaleidoscopic offering of films from the many countries represented by our families. The event is open to everyone in the Memphis community. Library		Volunteers are needed to help with book circulation and with monitoring the central desk	Assist with book checkout and check-in Assist with book checkout and re-shelving for lower school classes
Scholastic Book Fair	October 17 - October 23	The Scholastic Book Fair is a fundraising effort of the LPC. Books for all ages published by the Scholastic Company are offered for sale to all of our parents, with a portion of that sale coming back to the school so that the library can purchase books for our Lower School students. The event runs for a week during October and overlaps with the Fall Carnival.	Set up and take down Staff during school hours and during fall carnival (various shifts will be available)
