The Lausanne 360 Program provides children with opportunities to discover untapped strengths and nurture new friendships all under the supervision of a well trained staff. All after school programs place great care and effort into presenting the very best in instruction.

After Care Dates & Fees

PK-6th Graders
  • Offered all school days August 14, 2017 – May 25, 2018
  • Session Times: 
    Lower School, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
    Middle School, 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Registration is preferred. Drop-ins are accepted.

  • Aftercare Late Fees:
    • The following Late Pick-Up Fees apply to all AfterCare participants for the 2018-19 academic school year:
      • First Late Pick-Up: Fee Waived
      • Second Late Pick-Up: Fee of $5.00 per minute, per child
      • All Late Pick-Ups Thereafter: Fee of $5.00 per minute, per child
  • Complimentary Aftercare services are offered to Lausanne students enrolled in an after-school activity prior to the start time of the activity. For example, a Lausanne student participating in a gymnastics session that begins at 4:00 p.m. will be offered Aftercare services from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Students checking into the Aftercare program after an activity, event, conference, etc. will be identified as an Aftercare participant. The daily rate of $20.00 or a monthly charge will incur on the student’s AR account.
  • Monthly registration fees do not roll over to the next month nor may fees be transferred to siblings.
  • Parents are billed monthly for Aftercare services.

After Care Program

The After Care Program is certified by the Tennessee Department of Education. Click here to read the Tennessee Department of Education Child Care Requirements. All After Care employees are CPR and First Aid certified. Many After Care employees have a college degree or are presently working towards a degree.

Activities, homework time, and snacks are provided to children receiving After Care services. Playtime for all grade levels is included and a second snack is provided after 5:00 p.m.

The After Care Program is centrally located in the library. Please visit the circulation desk from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. for more information. After Care Parent Tips
  1. When you let After Care know that your child will be attending our program, we are better prepared to serve your child. To do so, please email
  2. Snacks are provided to children enrolled in After Care, Conservatory, Lower School Sports, and Enrichment Programs. Only children within 5th-6th grade may purchase a snack from the Blue Heron Café or the Lynx Store between 3:00-5:00 p.m.
  3. Only authorized individuals may pick up children from After Care. Parents: please update your pick-up authorization forms as needed.
  4. Please call 901-591-1177 when you are 3-5 minutes away if you would like to pick-up your child from Shockey Hall.

EXTENDED Care Dates & Fees

PK-6th Graders

Extended Care Program is offered to children in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade on select days when Lausanne Collegiate School is closed. Please read eNews weekly for announcements and cancelations.

  • May 24: ½ Day Last Day of School
Session Times
  • School dismissal - 6:00 p.m. or
  • 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Registration is required.

Daily Fees
  • $30 for registered students (School dismissal - 6:00 p.m.)
  • $50 for registered students (7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
Weekly Fees
  • $250 for registered students
  • Minimum 10/Maximum 50. Space is limited. Please Register early.

Example Extended Care Schedule

  • 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Drop off/Pick-up at the Lausanne Library Circulation Desk
    • Carpool is unavailable during Extended Care.
  • 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. - Check in and Centers in the library
  • 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. - Group Play at the Playground or Norfleet Gym
  • 9:45 a.m. - Snack Rotation
  • 10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. - Free play and games at the playground or Norfleet Gym
  • 11:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. - Story/Break/Lunch Prep
  • 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Lunch Rotation. (Library board games and group play in the library.)
  • 1:15 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. - Rest time for PK/JK/SK
    • Older students go to Norfleet for Group Games (e.g. Sardines) during rest time
    • Playground and/or field
  • 2:30 p.m. - Snack Rotation 
  • 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Kids Choice (movie, crafts, electronics, etc.)
What children may bring to Extended Care (none are required):
  • Small toy or toys that your child feels comfortable sharing
  • Towel or Happy Nappy for Rest Time
  • Books
  • Board Games
  • Laptops and/or other electronic devices
  • Frisbee, balls or outdoor play items that your child feels comfortable sharing
  • Peanut-FREE food
