It's almost here: the first day of school for the 2020-21 school year is three weeks away!
We're prepared to welcome all students back to campus for the start of the school year and are confident in the many changes and upgrades to our facilities, staffing, and processes to allow for a safe environment.
Campus-wide and divisional plans for on-campus learning are available on our website. They will continue to be updated as new information and recommendations are given by the CDC and other organizations.
*Decisions about aftercare and lunch will be made and communicated the week of August 3.
OPTIONAL ONLINE CLASSES
We're looking forward to welcoming students to campus for classes again but also making preparations for families that don't feel comfortable returning. That's why we're offering optional online classes, too.
If your family feels as though the online learning option is a better approach for you, please notify us by using this form. Otherwise, we’ll continue to prepare for teaching your child through in-person, on-campus classes this fall.
MEET THE TEACHER/ORIENTATION DAY
All Lower School students, and students new to the Middle and Upper Schools, including all rising 9th graders, will receive an invitation to sign up for a Meet the Teacher Day/Orientation time slot to be held on Friday, August 14.
You will receive this sign-up in the August 3 email that will also outline our aftercare and dining plans for the new school year.
VIRTUAL PARENT CONVERSATIONS
We were pleased to offer opportunities for our parents to ask questions and share feedback about Lausanne's reopening of school plans with senior administration and division heads this month.
You can view each of those virtual parent conversations by clicking here.
