We're currently in the process of evaluating and updating our safety protocols for fall based on the latest CDC recommendations. As we do, we're updating our coronavirus pages on the website.
At this point, the CDC has not changed many of its school reopening recommendations, but they have allowed for vaccinated individuals to not be required to wear a mask or social distance. With the vaccine being available to those age 12 and older, are there ways that we can allow for less restrictive procedures - especially with students age 12+? And once the vaccine is available for younger students, could we make masks optional school-wide?
Scheduling, dining hall procedures, carpool times and many other areas are being evaluated, as well, and we aim to have more concrete planning to share with you soon. Thank you for your patience!
