Reflecting on The Process

At Lausanne, reflection is always an essential part of learning, giving our community the ability to evaluate and make adjustments to improve the process. It's an ability that is proving vital to our process now. As the 2019-2020 school year heads into its final month, we continue to adapt as best we can to an ever-changing situation.

Many of our traditions have been adjusted to continue during this time. House Activities moved online, the show goes on with a virtual Lower School Musical, and we continue to plan ways to celebrate our seniors. On Friday, don't forget to add your support to the Class of 2020 by taking part in ArtsFest/SportsFest. Share pictures of your family on social media with the hashtag #lausanneclassof2020 as you play tag, paint a picture or have a picnic lunch. And be sure to wear your Lausanne gear!

We're almost done calculating credits to your account for Lausanne360, athletic teams, after-school activities, and the unused lunch fee. Barring unforeseen events, our business office aims to have your credit appear on your online statement next week. Thank you for your patience during the process.

We've also developed a plan for families to retrieve items that may have been left on campus. You can see the details below and on our website. I understand that some families may not feel comfortable coming to school at this time. If you have a concern, please contact your division head so we can arrange an alternative option for you.

As the situation we're all facing continues to change, we'll continue to adjust our plans and processes to best address the needs of our community. It's The Lausanne Way, after all.

Stay safe, Lynx!
