Literacy, SK - Grade 4

In Senior Kindergarten through fourth grade, literacy skills are taught through the Reading and Writing Workshop model that all of Lausanne's Lower School teachers are trained in at the Columbia University Teachers College. Math, SK

Students continue to build on mathematical skills from the previous school year, and practice skills as well as gain new skills through math centers. All activities are taught through large and small groups as well as partner games to practice skills as well as work one-on-one with their teacher. Science, PK3 - SK

World Languages, PK3 - SK

Lausanne students benefit from daily language instruction. Understanding that the young brain learns new languages at a much higher rate than older, our early childhood students receive daily language instruction.
