Dance education at Lausanne centers on kinesthetic, individualized instruction that allows each student to progress and develop in a nurturing, non-competitive environment.
Through movement, we provide each student with a positive, healthy outlet for creative self-expression while also benefiting emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Lausanne Collegiate School offers a wide range of dance classes for all PK—12th-grade students. Lower School students and community guests may choose to study creative movement, ballet, tap, or hip hop after school while Middle and Upper School students have the additional option of choosing dance as a fine arts elective. Dance students at Lausanne have multiple performance opportunities throughout the school year, including the school's annual production of The Nutcracker each December.
