The mission for Lausanne’s Robotics teams is to help our students realize their potential through the opportunities that engineering, robotics, and coding create. Our students develop life skills through the learner profile attributes to become: inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective. We believe in the cultivation of inclusiveness, collaboration, and diversity in STEAM opportunities to build lasting relationships and gain a life-long appreciation for the exploration of ingenuity.

Lausanne Collegiate School Robotics was founded in 2013 in Memphis, TN as an organization that uses competitive robotics as a way to promote science and technology throughout the school.

Covering all three divisions (Lower School, Middle School and Upper School), the robotics program at Lausanne allows our younger students to work alongside older students. That mentoring relationship allows our young Lynx to learn skills ranging from engineering to marketing and business.

Our Lower School teams participate in  FIRST LEGO League Explore, Middle School participates in FIRST LEGO League Challenge and Upper School students participate in the FIRST Tech Challenge League.

No matter the age or division, every student that participates contributes to the overall success of the program as a whole.
