Graduation Year

Why Are You Glad You Chose Lausanne?
Lausanne is lively. Classes are engaging, people are talking, and music is playing. The sheer amount of natural light in the school buildings makes everything bright and exciting. I have fun every day here. Furthermore, we learn from our teachers, and our teachers learn from us. Lausanne challenges who I am and what I think every single day.

What Is Your Favorite Memory At Lausanne?
11th-grade chemistry was a time and a half, let me tell you. It was like a clown car full of inside jokes and awesome times. I can specifically remember our class standing on tables during class, rating my teacher's dad jokes, listening to his life advice, and doing labs for the second graders. I enjoyed sitting in the back of the classroom and making comments and laughing with the class.

What Campus Activities Are You Involved In?
I play volleyball, bowling, and tennis, and I coached lower school basketball last year. I am also in ukulele club, and I am a National Honor Society chemistry tutor.

What Hidden Talents Do You Have?
I can oil paint. I am also very good at convincing myself that I'm an adult every time I cook myself a meal. In case you're interested I just made myself a chicken quesadilla, and I'll pretend that I grated that cheese myself. So I guess you could say I''m an adult now.

If You Could Only Use One Social Media Platform, Which One Would It Be? Why?
Twitter is the epitome of one-liner comedy. It's basically Everybody Loves Raymond on steroids. We can break this down further and say that because of the 140 character setup, you have to get to the punch line quickly. Also, because it's not spoken comedy, you have to choose your words and syntax deliberately since no vocal tone accompanies the joke.
