Why Are You Glad You Chose Lausanne?
I am glad I chose Lausanne because I was able to attend the same school as my brother and learn in the same environment with people from around the world. As a second-generation immigrant, the international approach to learning is very important, as it is extremely relevant in my home life. Most private schools in Memphis have a religious affiliation but since Lausanne is a non-secretariat school, I am able to approach topics with a wider scope and a more wholesome view.
What Is Your Favorite Lausanne Memory?
I have been at Lausanne for practically my entire life, so pinpointing one memory is very difficult. I would have to say that one of my favorites was pranking Ms. Hammons in eighth grade on April Fools Day. We hid a stuffed raccoon in her closet and played raccoon noises from a wireless speaker. Once we got her to look in the closet, she screamed and evacuated the entire classroom. Practically the entire class was sprawled on the floor laughing so hard. Another fun memory I will always cherish is making my famous Tres Leches Cake for our Spanish class parties, and taking a slice to all of my previous Spanish teachers, all the way back to second grade.
