Six-Year Old Lausanne Student Wins National Gymnastics Tournament

Zara Myers '30 is not taking the summer off.  The rising first grader captured first place in the all-around in her age group at the 2018 Xcel Championship Invitational, held in Sevierville, TN on June 30. The tournament, a USA Gymnastics sanctioned event, drew the best gymnasts from multiple states from each of the eight gymnastic regions from around the country. Lausanne Group Takes Cultural Trip To China

On June 4th, 39 members of the Lausanne community flew to China for a 10-day cultural trip.  Organized by Yanhua (Jessie) Vann and Nancy Graham, the group consisted of Upper and Middle School students, teachers and parents.  The trip began with a long travel day. Nearly 24 hours of travel, to be exact.
