After A Year Off, Lynx Baseball Off To Hot Start To Open Season

One of the surest signs of Spring is the sounds of baseball emanating from fields that have been dormant over the Winter. After a season suddenly cut short last year because of COVID-19, the Lausanne baseball team is once again taking the field at Gagliano Field, home of the Lynx. Environmental Outreach Club Honors World Water Day Through Pollution Prevention Cleanup

March 22 marked the annual observance of World Water Day, and to celebrate, Lausanne's Environmental Outreach Club participated in a Pollution Prevention Cleanup. The globally recognized day highlights the importance of our freshwater resources – our rivers, streams, lakes, wetlands and aquifers. IB Physics Hosts Annual Mousetrap Car Competition

IB Physics students had the opportunity to participate in one of Upper Schools favorite class traditions this week with the 2021 Mousetrap Car Competition. The annual challenge tests the students' ability to design a long-distance or race car powered by the stored energy in the spring of a mousetrap for the motor.  The idea is to attach a string to the mousetrap and axle. Lynx Take Home Multiple Awards at National History Day

Our Lynx had a tremendous showing at the regionals for the National History Day Competition.
