Fifth Graders Gain Deeper Understand Of Novel Through Walk To Water Simulation

When you think about water, do you think about walking? March To State Continues The Lausanne basketball team capped off a run to the regional title on Saturday with a 64-47 win over First Assembly. Jamarcus Powell ’23 and Seth Grandberry ’23 shared co-MVP honors with Tre Davis ’24 and Jayden Bachelor’24 also being named to the All-Region team. Study Shows Benefits Of Mindfulness Programs In Schools

Recently, an article was published by Psychology Today about mindfulness in schools. It details how teens in the United States are struggling with mental health more than ever before. A survey from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) conducted in 2021 found 44 percent of teens experienced feelings of sadness or hopelessness that prevented them from participating in normal activities. Lausanne Lynx Athletics Recap (2/8-2/15)

Playoffs Begin The basketball regular season came to a close last week and the Lynx began postseason play Monday night. The girls' season came to and end as they lost a tough game to Fayette Academy 51-34 in the regional quarterfinals. Tuesday night the boys defeated USJ 51-47 behind 30 points from Seth Grandberry ’23. With the win, the Lynx advance to the regional semifinals where they will take on St. George’s at Harding. Lower And Middle School Lynx Connect Through Handmade Candy Dispensers

First-grade students had the opportunity to connect with some of their older Lynx friends when a group of middle schoolers visited for an early Valentine's surprise.  This morning, eighth-Grade Advanced STEAM students stopped by with handmade candy dispensers they built in class. Lausanne’s Seth Grandberry Named Mr. Basketball Finalist

On Thursday, Lausanne’s Seth Grandberry ’23 was named a finalist for the TSSAA Mr. Basketball award.  The Mr. and Miss Basketball Awards are presented to the top girls and boys in six classifications of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA). Lausanne Hosts Black History Month Celebration

Students across grade levels gathered in EPAC last week for celebrations that kicked off Black History Month at Lausanne. Middle School Robotics Tops Leaderboard At First Lego League Competition

On Saturday, our Middle School Robotics Blue and Gold Teams competed against 30 schools from West Tennessee for First Lego League's Superpowered Competition.
