Lausanne Lynx Spring Fling Recap

The Lausanne Lynx hit the road to Murfreesboro this week for the TSSAA State Championships for spring sports, also known as Spring Fling. Regionals have wrapped up with the Lynx winning multiple regional championships across sports. This week we have sub-state in a number of sports with more trips to Murfreesboro for Spring Fling on the line. Two Thumbs Up! Lee Harris Punches Multiple Tickets To State In One Afternoon

When Lee Harris '23 woke up Friday, he hoped it would be a good day. "I woke up and felt pretty good," Harris said. "I knew what was on the agenda for the day, and mentally and physically, I was ready." Lausanne Names Jessica Green Basketball Head Coach

Lausanne alumna Jessica Green '09 has been named the new head girls’ basketball coach at Lausanne Collegiate School, Athletic Director Kevin Locastro announced on Wednesday.  Green will take over a team she helped lead with Associate Athletic Director Cayce Densford this past season after the departure of head coach Wayne Kelley, who took a job in St. Louis.  “We are excited to name Jessica Green as our new Head Women’s Basketball Coach,” Athletic Director Ke... Heartbreaker The Lausanne Lynx basketball season came to an end on Saturday as the Lynx lost a heartbreaker to The Webb School inside The Lair. After Seth Grandberry '23 hit a shot to give Lausanne the lead with under 30 seconds left in the game, Webb hit a three-pointer with under 10 seconds left to win the game 48-46. March To State Continues The Lausanne basketball team capped off a run to the regional title on Saturday with a 64-47 win over First Assembly. Jamarcus Powell ’23 and Seth Grandberry ’23 shared co-MVP honors with Tre Davis ’24 and Jayden Bachelor’24 also being named to the All-Region team.
