Multiple Lausanne Students Make All-West 2020

Lausanne is proud to announce that 16 students have made the 2020 All-West Band, Chorus and Orchestra.  Each year, students from schools across West Tennessee demonstrate their musicianship abilities during an audition that includes prepared excerpts, sight-reading and scales. Lausanne Students Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. With Concert

To honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Lausanne hosted its eighth annual MLK Remembrance Day Concert.  The Lausanne community packed EPAC to watch performances from the Middle and Upper School Choirs. The choir members performed songs that gave strength to civil rights activists like Dr. King while they were bravely fighting for equality. Lynx Robotics Team Takes Home Multiple Awards At Tech Challenge Competition

Upper School Students Proudly Represent Lausanne At Model UN Convention

At the end of November, Lausanne's Model UN club attended the YMCA sponsored Southeastern High School Model UN (SHSMUN) convention held in Chattanooga, Tennessee. More than 650 delegates from several high schools throughout the southeast participated, including 37 from Lausanne. The convention is set up to simulate the actual United Nations, complete with various committees on such topics as disarmament, national security, and world health. Lausanne Hosts Annual Shakespeare Competition
