"All the world is a stage..." It is a line many people outside of theatre have heard.
For some, that stage becomes a place of refuge. A place to flourish. A stepping stone to achieving a dream.
Some Lausanne Middle School students took another step towards that dream April 11 and were recognized by being inducted into the International Jr. Thespian Society.
The International Jr. Thespian Society is a middle school honor society that honors students that have shown a passion and a commitment to the theatre.
In order to be invited to join the society, students need to have participated in two shows during their middle school years. Students can be inducted for acting or technical work. Throughout the year, Jr. Thespians meet to plan the ArtsFest Sportfest talent show and to work on promoting the theatre in our school.
This year, Troupe #88966 inducted 9 new Jr. Thespians.

Students were inducted with a "Roll Call Cheer," created by our current Jr. Thespians. They also recited the official Thespian pledge.
The motto of the International Thespian Society is, "Act well your part. There all the honor lies."
Congrats, Lynx!
