FIVE LYNX SENIORS RECOGNIZED AS NATIONAL MERIT COMMENDED STUDENTS

In addition to the three semifinalists selected earlier this month, Lausanne is proud to announce that seniors Grant Beeber '23, Dany Hamze '23, Jonathan Roberts '23, Max Weiss '23 and Gabor Wollak '23 have been named commended students in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program.

The five Lynx seniors will receive letters of commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) to acknowledge their distinctive academic talents.

To be eligible, students must be US citizens and enter the competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) during their junior year. This year's Lynx recipients earned recognition after placing among the top 50,000 competitors who entered the 2023 competition.

"We are proud of these seniors and their commitment to academic excellence they continuously strive for each year," Head of Upper School Stuart Dunster said. "We are honored to celebrate them during this time and are positive these students have bright futures ahead."

Congratulations, Lynx!
