He Ran. He Hurdled. He Won.

As the runners sprinted off the starting line in the 110 meter hurdle last Friday, May 26, in Murfreesboro, Tenn. at Spring Fling, it didn't take long to realize Lausanne senior Meshach Boyce '17 was the favorite. Meshach didn't miss a step in the race and crossed the finish line as the Division II-A state champion. He also put 5th place in the long jump and 6th place in the 300 hurdles on his final state championship competition resume.

In the 4x100 relay, Meshach ran the anchor leg and was joined by seniors Cameron Kinley '17 and Mario Nolan-Dillard '17, along with sophomoreEric Gray '19. The relay team was barely edged out of the winning spot and finished as state runners-up.

Junior Nyle Love '18 was the other member of the boys track team to represent the Lynx on the state level coming in as state runner-up in the discus throw and 7th in shot put.

The girls track members competed on Thursday with senior Princess Stark '17 placing 8th in the discus throw and senior Selena Pruitt '17 finishing 6th in the 400.

Congratulations to our track Lynx!
