Juniors And Seniors Explore College Life During Class Trip

As our juniors and seniors enter their final stretch of Upper School, the students have been exploring the college application process and gearing up for life after graduation. Choosing what college to attend is an exciting experience, but with so many options around the globe, it can be challenging to decide which one is the right fit.

To help our Lynx discover their personal preferences for a collegiate environment, our 11th and 12th graders spent the week exploring different college campuses for their Upper School class trip. The students toured St. Louis University, Webster University, DePaul University, Northwestern University and the University of Missouri.

The goal of the college tour experience was to expand our student's perspective on different college options and help them focus on finding the right one to suit their needs. The class trip serves as a way for our students to discover their personal preferences and give them a point of reference for the characteristics they want in a college as they explore potential schools. Lausanne's college counseling advisors who led the trip chose an area that would provide a comprehensive blend of colleges to help them feel for various school characteristics that may become a part of their college search.
