INTERNATIONAL WOMEN's Day
Wednesday, March 8 is International Women's Day and we want to wish Happy International Women's Day to the amazing ladies that make up Lausanne Lynx Athletics.
International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity, celebrating women's achievements and making the call for positive change.
MIDDLE SCHOOL LYNX WIN BIG
Our Middle School lacrosse team got a big win over Hutchison last night, winning 16-6.
Way to go, Lynx!
BOYS Lacrosse DEFEATS REGENTS
Our boys' varsity lacrosse team took the field this weekend and defeated Regents High School out of Oxford, MS.
The Lynx used a strong first half to defeat the Lions, 7-6.
GIRLS LACROSSE IN ACTION
Our girls’ lacrosse team hits the field at home this evening for a matchup against St. Benedict at 6:15 p.m.

BASEBALL PREPARES for THE start of THE Season
Varsity baseball continued its string of scrimmages this week.
In baseball, the Lynx took on White Staton last Thursday and won 10-2 with JV also picking up the win.
The first regular season game of the year for baseball is March 13 against MHEA. That game will be played at USA Stadium in Millington.
Student-Athlete Spotlight:
Senior Evan Lewellyn '23 is a Full IB student serving as Senior Class co-president and Lynx Serve Vice president. He has also participated in soccer, cross-country, chorus and musical theater competitions at Lausanne.
Evan said that Lausanne creates an atmosphere that models the "work hard, play hard" attitude and that being an IB student provides him with course rigor that prepares him for college.
Evan has committed to Northeastern University's Honors Program for a combined Economics and Business Administration major in the D'Amore-McKim School of Business. He is also considering a minor/double major in either International Business or Sustainability.
