Lynx Attend Tennessee Governor's School

Recently, some of our Upper School Lynx had the opportunity to participate in different Tennessee Governor's School programs.

This honor is available for rising 11th and 12th-grade students who are enrolled in Tennessee public and private high schools and nominated by a member of the school faculty.

These academically demanding programs require high achieving students who rank at the top of their high school class in academic performance and their specific interest of study.

"Governor's School was an amazing opportunity," Justice Crawford '21 said. "While I was supposed to be on a college campus for four weeks, the program directors did a great job at transforming the program to be online via Zoom Calls. I remember being super nervous about taking college-level writing classes but I felt as if Lausanne had prepared me to excel in them. Overall, it was a great experience getting to meet new people and I feel much better about heading off to college in a year because of taking actual college courses."

Congratulations to our Lynx Tennessee Governor's School attendees:

Justice Crawford '21- Governor's School for the Humanities (Elected as Co-President of his program)

Jad Hamze '21- Integration of Biological and Statistical Sciences

Ali Devji '21- Business, Innovation and Technology
