Lynx Govern Studies Over Summer

Nine of our Lynx were scattered across the state this summer to attend different programs in the Tennessee Governor's School.

Nine of our Lynx were scattered across the state this summer to attend different programs in the Tennessee Governor's School.

This honor is available for rising 11th and 12thgrade students who are enrolled in Tennessee public and private high schools.

These academically demanding programs require high achieving students who rank in the top of their high school class in academic performance and in their specific interest of study.

Students are nominated by a member of the school faculty.

"Through my many years here at Lausanne, the school has both taught me to self-reflect and provided me with a rigorous education similar to the Governor's School program," said junior Sophia Basco '19who attended the School for the Arts in dance. "It was a great opportunity and valuable experience because the program intensely educates high school students for a month in a subject in which we're passionate about."
