Middle School Students Try And Escape To Earn House Points

Friday, Lausanne Middle School students used their house activity time to try to escape from one of four escape rooms in an effort to earn points for their respective houses.

“We are trying to keep our students as engaged as possible while also keeping them as safe as possible,” Sixth Grade Individuals and Societies Teacher and House System Director Kyle Lawrence said.

The students worked either alone or in groups to try and escape from as many of the four escape rooms (Math, Science, English and Social Studies) as possible in the time allowed. For each escape room completed, 25 points were awarded to their house.

“I hope they have as much fun completing them as I did,” Lawrence said. “Some of them are more challenging than others.”

Think you have the skills? Take your shot at escaping from one of the four rooms:

Any student who sends
Kyle Lawrence a picture of themselves wearing their house t-shirt while performing a day of service on MLK Day will receive 25 points for their House. If you are picking up trash, helping a neighbor, working at a Food Bank…whatever it may be. Send it to Mr Lawrence and you can earn House points!
