To help Lausanne Upper Schoolers prepare for the future, our college advisors diligently work to create opportunities for students to learn about and connect with a variety of colleges and universities across the globe.
More than 80 colleges have visited Lausanne’s campus over the last two weeks to meet our students and share information about their school. To accommodate the large number of visitors, Upper Schoolers had the opportunity to attend two college fairs along with a variety of individual school meetings.
The College Advising team encouraged students to attend numerous meetings, so they could gain exposure to different options from around the world and to help them build a list of characteristics that will define their ideal institution.
"We want students to maintain an open mind about attending different meetings so they have the opportunity to discover which schools may fit their needs," said Director of College Advising John Hawkins. "The meetings also help our students learn how to become stronger self-advocates. From their handshake to the questions the students ask, every opportunity allows a student to show their interest in an institution."
