Upper School Business & History Teacher Collin Libassi recently had his senior students do a project where they interviewed someone with a business about the impact of COVID-19.
"I wanted then to find a local business and interview someone at that business on how things are going," Libassi said.
The students then turned that interview into a four to five-minute "podcast" interview.
As a part of the assignment, the podcast needed to have a theme that fits within one or two of the four business functions:
It even could be a combination of more than one.
Libassi also said he wanted the podcasts to have a theme. Was it a cash flow podcast or a chain management one?
Students were also given different examples of podcasts to listen to in order to get ideas.
The podcast was then edited, containing a mix of the students' narration and audio from the interviewee.
The finished projects were then submitted on April 22.
