Seventh-grade science students worked hard on an exciting project for their MYP Classifying and Exploring Life unit.

For the exercise, which students call the Lausanne Tree Project, the seventh-graders researched trees across Lausanne's campus and designed web pages for a Lausanne Tree Database.
Additionally, students built birdhouses to hang on branches and designed nameplates in their STEAM class to place at the base of each tree. The nameplates have a QR code that, when scanned, brings up the webpage.
