The Lausanne class of 2022 was represented by eight students this year in Duke TIP's 7th Grade Talent Search.
Ella Peeples '22 was invited to the grand ceremony at Duke University's Cameron Indoor Stadium to honor the 7th Grade Talent Search participants with the highest ACT or SAT scores. Each year, the program helps academically talented students identify their strengths, develop their abilities and interests and celebrate their achievements at a crucial time when they are forming their identities and looking ahead to the future.
To qualify for the Grand Recognition Ceremony, Ella must have earned scores that were approximately equal to the 90th national percentile rank for college-bound seniors taking the tests, including about four percent of TIP students.

These students qualified for the state ceremony by earning scores that were approximately equal to the 50th national percentile rank for college-bound seniors taking the tests. Approximately 35 percent of TIP students meet that criteria.
