At Lausanne, we strive to provide opportunities for students to succeed and encourage students to pursue their goals.
Through the support and help of Lausanne, three Upper School students were accepted into Tennessee Governor’s School. Anaum Showkat ’20 and Kevin Ou ’19 were accepted to the TN Governor’s School for the Arts. Andrew Tian ’19 was one out of 30 chosen for the Governor’s School for Emerging Technology and received the Top Scholar Award for the program.
Tennessee Governor’s schools provide challenging programs of interest for 11th and 12th grade students who are nominated by faculty.
“We are very proud of these students,” said assistant head of Upper School Stephen Campbell. “The amount of work and dedication they have put in over the years is incredible, and being accepted to Governor’s School was well deserved.”
