Upper School DECA Club Wins Multiple Awards At Conference

The Upper School DECA Club students used the business skills they’ve learned at Lausanne to their advantage during the District 1 Career Development Conference on January 18.

Sophomores Jazmin Bolden ’21 and Martin Succar ’21 won their competitive event in Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making, while seniors Jenny Rogers ’19 and Isaac Weiss ’19 came in second place in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing category.

The conference, which was held at the Agricenter, invited students from the Memphis Metro area to compete in business-related challenges consisting of roles plays on topics such as marketing, hospitality and retail merchandising.

Our Lynx pulled some impressive moves during the conference, landing the club multiple awards and the opportunity to move on to the DECA Tennessee State Championships in March.

Congratulations to the Upper School DECA club for their hard work and well-deserved accomplishments. It’s great to be a Lynx!
