Upper Schoolers Compete In Math Bowl

Over the weekend, eight students from Lausanne put their training to the test by answering rapid-paced, buzzer style questions during the Collierville Math Bowl.

"There were 20 teams from eight different schools in attendance," Upper School Math teacher Janet Sleinski said. "In the morning round-robin competition, teams were able to hone their skills in preparation for the double-elimination bracket in the afternoon."

The Lynx's have been competing in this competition for the past three years, and have made it further and further each year.

The team of Saad Khan (’20), Sultan Shah (’20), Ayaka Kimura (’21) and Yuka Kimura (’21) placed 5th overall, making it to the seventh round of bracket play.
